Prepare for divorce before you file, mediate, or hire a lawyer.

Alette surfaces the decisions your separation or divorce may involve, organizes the documents and finances behind them, and turns the work into one Case File you can bring to the professionals you work with. You work at your own pace.

Decisions surfaced

Alette names the financial and parenting decisions divorce commonly involves, so fewer are found late.

Documents in one place

Statements, returns, appraisals, and policies collected against the decisions they belong to.

One Case File to hand over

Your mediator, attorney, and advisor can start from the same organized file, so less of your paid time goes to repeating intake.

You are already doing the work. What is missing is a system to hold it.

Divorce preparation is already happening across spreadsheets, notes, folders, cloud drives, paper, and other tools that were never designed to work together. The missing piece is the connective tissue: linking records, documents, questions, positions, decisions, and what is still missing into one structured system.

Walk in prepared

Not a legal document. The organized foundation your mediator, attorney, or advisor can start from.

How you approach separation and divorce shapes the family structure that emerges.

The decisions are large. Where the children sleep, how two households share what one household earned, what happens to the home. How you decide matters as much as what you decide. Preparing gives you room to think through your children's schedule, care and costs on your own terms, before those conversations begin.

Alette exists to make that kind of preparation possible for any family that chooses it.

Everything you prepare comes together in your Case File.

As you work, Alette collects the decisions, the documents, and the numbers into one Case File. It is what you hand a mediator, an attorney, or a financial advisor. Much of the organizing is done before you meet with a professional, so more of the time you pay for can go to advice instead of intake.

What changes when you arrive prepared.

Clearer decisions

You reach each decision knowing your finances, your documents, and where you stand, rather than deciding under pressure with partial information.

Less paid time spent organizing

Professionals start from an organized Case File, so more of their time can go to advice and judgment rather than assembling your paperwork.

A record you keep

What you prepare stays yours. The documents, the decisions, and the priorities, in one place you can return to.

Working with professionals

Divorce is a system of connected decisions, each one affecting the next.

Whether you refinance, sell, or keep the house changes support. Support changes both households' taxes. Taxes change what each parenting budget can carry. Move one piece, and the others move with it. That is why the process draws on specialists across many fields, each holding one part of the whole.

Amy Tourte, founder of Alette

Built by someone who has been here.

People are expected to make some of the most consequential decisions of their lives in the most emotionally dysregulated state, within the most complex legal, financial, and custodial system. I built Alette because people deserve more clarity, organization, and self-authorship through divorce.

Divorce is not only a legal process. It is a financial, operational, and structural transition. Yet many people enter it without a clear understanding of their finances, their documents, or the decisions they will be required to make. There had to be a better way to prepare.

To understand the system from every angle, I became certified in divorce mediation. I wanted to see how agreements are actually formed, where they break down, and what professionals commonly need from the people across the table.

Before founding Alette, I spent fifteen years building products, partnerships, and growth initiatives at LinkedIn, Dropbox, AWS, and venture backed startups. That work taught me how complex systems behave under pressure and how clarity changes outcomes. Alette applies that discipline to divorce preparation, organizing what matters before decisions are made, so they are made from a clearer picture.
